(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Commenting on the new crime committed by Zionist settlers as they torched a mosque in the Tuba Zangaria village, northern occupied Palestine, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The Zionist settlers have increased their attacks against Islamic and Christian sanctities in the occupied Palestine. The escalation of attacks takes place while those who claim defending human rights remain in total silence.
Settlers torched a mosque in the Tuba Zagaria village in Safad region, located northern occupied Palestine 1948 territory.
The new crime of torching the mosque, copies of the Holy Quran and desecrating the mosque's sanctity through drawing graffiti slogans assures the racist and aggressive nature of those settlers.
It also uncovers they fear no punishment for the crimes they have committed as they enjoy the support of their government.
The escalating Zionist crimes against mosques and other Islamic and Christian sanctities in occupied Palestine constitute a dangerous indicator to aggression against these sanctities, on top of which is the Aqsa mosque. This also takes place amid international silence, which in fact should protect occupied lands and people and protect their symbols and sanctities.
Meanwhile, Arabs who should stand by their Palestinian oppressed brothers who suffer ongoing aggression and provocation of settlers are totally absent.
Hence, Hizbullah condemns this new crime, and calls on the nation (Ummah) to stand by their Palestinian fellow brothers and support them in their struggle to free their land and retrieve their sanctities and establish their independent state.
